MARRIED PLUS T&E Package – (Married WITH Minor Child/Children)
Durable Power of Attorney (Assets) – allows you to appoint an authorized person (with backups) to manage your assets if you are incapacitated.
Health Care Directives – allows you to appoint an authorized person (with backups) to make decisions for you regarding your medical treatment and procedures if you are incapacitated and your spouse is also unavailable.
Guardianship for Minors – allows you to appoint an authorized person (with backups) to take care of your child/children if you are incapacitated and your spouse is also unavailable.
The Will – allows you to appoint an executor to manage your assets and an authorized person (and backups) to take care of your minor child/children, and to name beneficiaries to inherit your assets after your death. Note that your spouse will be by default the beneficiary under your Will and your child(ren) will be by default the backup(s) beneficiaries, but you will have a chance to name the backup beneficiaries in the event of the death of your spouse.
